Boxing Day

Lazy start to the day and out and about by midday for a walk around Ferry Meadows! Highlights included Ben looking for pylons, (alas, unsuccessful) small hairy caterpillars and a 91b Carp being landed by some yokle locals.





We also discovered that burrs don't stick to Canadian Geese but they do to brand new Gap jumpers.



Lunch at the Cuckoo - Mandy not impressed with the slow service but food was pretty good!

The Dalziel clan headed back around 16:00 leaving Mandy & Dave to go home and sleep/watch golf!

We're in Peterborough celebrating Christmas!
Ben, Mel, Mum and Dad are with us and we've had a fun day of present opening and BBQing in the rain!!
Why are we having Christmas on the 22nd of July? Ben is off to San Fran State uni next Thursday and Dave and I will be having another BBQ on the beach in Perth. This is our last time all together before Ben moves away so we're having Christmas a little early!
It's been a lovely day (other than the rain) and we're now having the after lunch lull!
